38- OKEAH

OKEAH watches were originally produced and issued for the soviet navy by the 1st Moscow Watch Factory. This watch is a modern re-issue.
Beautiful stainless steel case with a slightly doomed mineral crystal.
It mounts a 3133 chronograph movement with date function which was derived from the Valjoux 7734 Swiss caliber.
The watch internal rotating bezel that can be used to read a second time zone.
The watch has also a telemeter scale that can be used to estimate distances. The telemeter scale is, appropriately for a watch to be used by the Navy, in nautical miles. Distances are estimated by measuring the time since the origin of the sound by some visual reference to the moment the sound is actually heard. Distance is then read, in nautical miles, on the telemeter scale.
